To have a full Home Energy Assessment through Goulburn Murray Solar Savers the cost will be approximately $363 to $440 (excl gst) but it will depend on the size of your home. It includes an accredited Assessor attending and spending 2-4 hours closely examining your home's thermal efficiency and providing expert recommendations.

Draught sealing involves professionally fixing materials to doors, windows, chimneys and more to ensure your indoor temperature remains comfortable. As an example, to draught proof the perimeter of a door costs between $50 - $109 (excl gst).

Insulation costs depend on the thickness or R rating you choose and whether it is installed in the ceiling or floor. An Assessor can show you how much you can save with installations like these.

These are the raw costs BEFORE your VEEC rebates have been applied. The Victorian Government VEU scheme will cover ceiling insulation from 1 October 2026.
Goulburn Murray Solar Savers is a proud initiative of the Goulburn Murray Climate Alliance
